Hub-News is a quarterly financial magazine that is sent out to a marketing service’s user-base updating them on the opinions, analysis and news of the current stock market. Each magazine was filled with articles from the site’s partners and sponsors and took a month to plan, illustrate and print.
Solution: The client was wanting a design that didn’t follow suit of the stereotypical magazine of the same market. Together we developed a style that was fun, bold and colourful that paired well with the redesign of the site. Each edition was fully illustrated and artworked by myself with the illustration style consistent from each print with splashes of colour, angles, curves and textured shading.
Cover printed on silk 200gsm with stitched silk 115gsm pages.
I worked closely with MiP to update their sister site Adviser-Hub, a service offering financial advisers a wealth of expertly crafted articles and videos from some of the leading investment and analysis firms from around the world. I was tasked to refresh the current site, email marketing and some analysis reports that are to be presented to the site’s partners and sponsors as part of a quarterly reporting process.
Problem: The current site and emails had become dated and cluttered producing a negative impact on usability. There was great content coming through from over 20 of their contributors but adding to the site and promoting it on the homepage was tricky and fiddly.
Solution: Together we worked to give the site a full refresh and to introduce a blogging function for the content. This would make creating, organising and promoting articles incredibly easy. This blogging module was given a fully custom design though various ‘cards’ that were colour coded to follow their already strong palate. The emails were also given a matching style that was sent out to all subscribers. The print material was also designed with thenew style and was offered as a template allowing future versions to be created easily.
